master erdmannMaster Mike Erdmann
Head Instructor

With a 5th Dan WTF Taekwondo Black Belt*, Master Erdmann has been an active athlete in BC and Canada. He is NCCP Certified to coach level 1 & 2 (A&B). Mike is emergency first aid certified through St. John Ambulance – Industry BC & AB, and has finished the Okanagan Sport Leadership Coaching Course through Sport Kelowna.

Master Erdmann’s achievements have led him to the BC Provincials and Canadian Taekwondo championships. He has also trained exclusively with Taekwondo Olympians, participating in many tournaments around the world including Europe and Asia. In fact, Master Erdmann spent over 8 weeks in Korea studying and training at their number one ranked Taekwondo University.

Although an active competitor, Master Erdmann has been teaching and instructing for over 19 years. He brings many years of experience from his club’s in the Okanagan (Salmon Arm Taekwondo) and in the Lower Mainland (Metro Taekwondo).

*The 5th Dan Black Belt is considered a Master and must have at least fifteen years experience, with a required pass on the regulation test of the Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo Headquarters).

With over 19 years of Taekwondo experience, Master Mike has earned a 5th Dan Black Belt and many honors. He is well known for coaching and developing many great athletes throughout their competitive careers. Master Mike maybe the most notable as being a bit of a joker in class and seems to make everyone have fun and relax. Master Mike is NCCP Certified to coach level 1 & 2 (A&B) and is emergency first aid certified through St. John Ambulance – Industry BC & AB.
master charleneMaster Charlene
With over 18 years of Taekwondo experience, Master Charlene has earned a 4th Dan Black Belt. She is well known for her great attention to detail and unbelievable memory of all the movements. Master Charlene is most recognized for her mother like quality and very loving demeanor. Master Charlene is NCCP Certified to coach level 1 & 2 (A&B) and is emergency first aid certified through St. John Ambulance – Industry BC & AB.
kris clarkKris Clark
With over 15 years of martial arts experience and a local member of the Kelowna RCMP, Constable Kris Clark has been a very active member in many competitions around the country and Internationally. Constable Clark loves teaching and helping to develop the young talent at Kelowna Taekwondo with a keen focus on character development. Constable Clark has been teaching and training with Master Erdmann since his very first class as a white belt.
lawrence leongLaurence Leong
With over 15 years of martial art experience, Laurence has trained and competed in many local and International tournaments. Laurence is known for his great attitude and laugh that he brings to the club every day. Laurence has been teaching and training with Master Erdmann for over 10 years.
connor howeConnor Howe
With a 3rd Dan Black belt, Connor has over 9 years of competing and teaching experience. Connor has been an active competitor in Junior BC Provincials and Junior Nationals earring many gold medals. Connor’s next goal is to come in first at Jr.Worlds or Pan Am games and receive his 4th Dan Black Belt.
morgan de la rondeMorgan De le Ronde
With a 2nd Dan Black belt, Morgan has over 8 years of competing and teaching experience. Morgan has been an active competitor in Junior BC Provincials and Junior Nationals earring many gold medals. Morgan’s hopes to compete at the highest of his abilities and get many more first place finishes and continue onwards to the Olympics.
kevin serwaKevin Serwa
With a 2nd Dan Black belt, Kevin has practiced
Taekwondo for the last 5 years. Kevin has competed in
many tournaments, winning numerous gold and silver
medals. He has also been instructing for many years
and loves the art of teaching. In 2009, he earned his
NCCP level A & B Coaching Certification.
